Enhance your Vellums with images. Upload, resize, and align images directly in the editor.

Inserting Images
Click the image button in the toolbar or drag and drop an image file directly into the editor. Images are uploaded to Viewert's CDN and embedded in your Vellum.

Click the image icon
In the editor toolbar, click the image button to open the upload dialog.

Select or drag a file
Choose a JPEG or PNG image from your computer, or drag it directly into the editor.

Wait for upload
The image uploads to our CDN. A placeholder appears while it's processing.
Resizing & Alignment
After inserting an image, click on it to reveal resize handles and alignment options. You can set the width (as a percentage or pixels) and align the image left, center, or right. Left and right alignment wraps text around the image.
Image Limits
Profile images are limited to 5MB, background images to 10MB. In-editor images follow the same limits. Only JPEG and PNG formats are supported. Files are validated both by content type and actual file contents for security.
