Choosing an NFT Avatar
Browse your NFT collection and pick the perfect profile picture. Your avatar will display with an animated verified badge across Viewert.
Browsing Your Collection
Once your wallet is connected, Viewert fetches your NFTs directly from the blockchain using Alchemy's NFT API. You'll see all NFTs with images across your supported chains.
Go to Settings → NFT Avatar
After connecting your wallet, you'll see a "Choose NFT" button.
Select a Chain
Pick which blockchain to browse — Ethereum, Polygon, or Base. Your NFTs on that chain will load automatically.
Browse & Pick
Scroll through your collection. Each NFT shows its image, name, and collection. Click the one you want.
Confirm
Review your selection and confirm. Viewert verifies you still own the NFT on-chain before setting it.
The Verified Badge
Once set, your NFT avatar appears everywhere on Viewert — your profile, comments, the header, and messenger. It's wrapped in an animated gradient border (cyan → violet → amber → emerald) with a verified checkmark, so others know it's a real, verified NFT.
Which NFTs Work?
Changing or Removing Your NFT Avatar
You can switch to a different NFT at any time by going back to Settings → NFT Avatar and picking a new one. To remove your NFT avatar entirely and revert to a standard profile picture, click "Remove NFT Avatar" in the same section.
