Why Link Vellums?
Knowledge isn't linear — ideas connect to each other in unexpected ways. By linking between Vellums, you create a personal knowledge graph that mirrors how you actually think.
How to Create Links
In the editor, select text and press ⌘K to create a link. Paste the URL of another Vellum (or any URL) to create a clickable reference. You can also paste a Vellum URL directly and the editor will auto-detect it.
1
Select text
Highlight the text you want to turn into a link.
2
Press ⌘K
The link dialog opens.
3
Paste the URL
Paste the full URL of the target Vellum or any external page.
4
Confirm
Press Enter. The text is now a clickable link.
Cross-Referencing
When you link to another Vellum, readers can jump between related topics seamlessly. This is especially powerful for building tutorials, research series, or interconnected notes.
