Use tags to organize your Vellums by topic and make them discoverable by the community.
How Tags Work
Each Vellum can have up to 4 tags. Tags are short labels (up to 100 characters each) that describe the topic of your content. They're visible on your Vellum cards and used for filtering and search.
Adding Tags
You can add tags when creating or editing a Vellum:
Open the tag editor
Below the Vellum content, you'll see a tag input area.
Type a tag name
Start typing and suggestions will appear based on existing tags in the system.
Press Enter to add
Confirm the tag. It's immediately saved and associated with your Vellum.
Remove tags
Click the × on any tag to remove it.

Best Practices
Use specific, descriptive tags rather than generic ones. "React Hooks" is more useful than "coding". Consistent tagging across your Vellums makes your personal library easier to navigate.
