Reporting a Page
If a product or organization is a copy, a scam or spam, tell us. A person on the team reads every report, and the owner is never told it was you.
When to Report
Report a page when it pretends to be someone else, looks like a scam, is spam, misuses a name or logo you own, or is inappropriate or harmful. It’s for pages that shouldn’t be here — not for disagreeing with a product, or a bad experience with a business, which a review or a conversation handles better.
How
On any product or organization page that isn’t yours, choose Report. You need to be signed in: a report from nobody can’t be followed up on.
Say what’s wrong
Impersonation, scam, spam, a name or logo of yours, inappropriate, or something else.
Tell us what you saw
At least ten characters; the more specific, the faster we can act. Links help. Please don’t include passwords or private details.
If it copies a brand, say which
Give the real page’s address if you know it, and tick the box if you are, or work for, the brand being copied. We read those first.
What Happens Next
Reports are grouped by page so the team sees everything about it at once — how many different people reported it, what they said, how old their accounts are, and whether the page carries the badge. The team can then do nothing, hide the page from search, or remove its badge, always with a reason. When three or more different people report the same page the team is alerted — more urgently if it carries the badge.
Hide it
The page stops appearing in search, browse and the Hearth picker. It isn’t deleted, and its owner can still see it and appeal.
Remove the badge
The owner is emailed the reason and can appeal.
Dismiss
Nothing changes. Dismissing a report never penalizes the page.

If It’s Your Brand Being Copied
Report the copy, tick “I’m, or I work for, the brand being copied”, and give the real page’s address. Then get your own page verified (see Get Your Brand Verified), so people can tell which is which.
If Your Own Page Was Reported or Hidden
You’re not told about reports. If the team hides your page or removes its badge you’re emailed the reason, and your verification page has an Appeal box.
